By now, you have likely heard a great deal about the new Coronavirus. Coronavirus, also referred to as COVID-19, is an infectious disease first detected in China and now making its way to various parts of the world, including the United States.

COVID-19 is in a family of viruses similar to the common cold and therefore it is believed to spread – like other respiratory illness – through coughs or sneezes, or by touching an infected surface or object and then touching your own mouth, nose or eyes.

At Surgical Associates, we take the safety of our patients and our employees very seriously. Therefore, we are taking the following precautions to reduce the risk of spreading illness:

  • Any patient who is ill (fever or cough) will be asked to cancel their appointment.
  • All people accompanying patients must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Please only allow one person to accompany you to your office visit.
  • If you have recently traveled outside of the United States, please cancel your appointment by calling our office at 918-505-3400.

We greatly appreciate your assistance and understanding as we learn more about the Coronavirus.

Thank You,

Surgical Associates

4.20.2019 – Surgical Associates is a proud sponsor of Relay for Life.

Relay for Life is the signature fundraiser cancer walk for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 20 countries who give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer.

What many people don’t consider about cancer patients is the financial impossibilities that they face.

Charitable organizations and events like Relay for Life keep the world turning for families affected by an illness such as cancer. These organizations fund research for a cure, pay for transportation to and housing near treatment centers and even help pay for hospital bills. They also raise awareness about the struggle of fighting cancer, which is essential to ending the fight.
Each person who shares the Relay For Life experience can take pride in knowing that they are working to create a world where cancer will no longer threaten our loved ones. Donating to a Relay event honors survivors, caregivers, and those lost to cancer.

Please help Surgical Associates reach their goal by donating today.
