Bryce W. Murray, M.D.

Dr. Murray is a native Oklahoman.  He graduated magna cum laude, receiving his bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.  Dr. Murray went on to receive his medical degree in 2004 from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa.  He completed his residency in general surgery in 2009 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock,  where he served as Chief Resident.  Following completion of his residency, Dr. Murray held the position of Assistant Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern/VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas.  In 2011 he returned to Tulsa to serve as Assistant Professor of Surgery for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Dr. Murray joined Surgical Associates in August of 2014 after completing a fellowship in colorectal surgery at the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando in Orlando, Florida, where he acquired state of the art training in minimally invasive colon surgery.  His special interests are laparoscopic and robotic surgery and their application in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and colon and rectal cancer.

Dr. Murray is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the?American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Southwestern Surgical Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Association of VA Surgeons and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
